57 brotherhoods are registered in the Lorraine, Champagne-Ardennes and Franche-Comté regions. More than a third of these gastronomic brotherhoods are in the Vosges department.
This illustrates the importance of local traditions and the prominent position of local areas and their productions in this « French garden ».
