| The Vosges have traditionally been an area where people from elsewhere have settled, and where an innate sense of hospitality has always been cultivated. Whereas the shepherds on the mountain pastures no longer invite walkers to share their accommodation and fare for a few hours, the Vosges farm inns have taken on the same role, welcoming people seeking to « get away from it all », with a typical local feel. And a large number of other types of accommodation offer a thousand different ways of experiencing the warmth of local hospitality, either traditional or high class, countrified or extremely comfortable, urban or mountain. |

With several hundred establishments (most of which are classified as being "for tourism", and some also have the "Logis de France" quality label) and a large range of services on offer, the Vosges hotel industry is clearly oriented towards the tourist trade. |

The total daily capacity is 6,057 bedrooms and no less than 12,594 beds ; this has grown considerably during the past fifteen years. |

On the shores of lakes or at the edge of the forest, in the plains or up in the mountains, out in the open air wherever they are, there are about 6,664 pitches (1 to 4 stars) available to those who like “outdoor” holidays.

More than 88 establishments in total, of which 73 are camp sites, 7 are natural areas, 8 farm camp sites, representing 19,992 sleeping places, to enjoy the pleasure of holidaying in a tent, a caravan or a camper van, while taking advantage of the high quality equipment and events available on the sites. And to complete the Vosges offer in terms of camping and caravanning, there are 33 stopping areas for camper vans. |
